A Day at the Park!

07/12/25 A Day at the Park!

Join us for a day of fun at Willow River State Park!

Come take a hike, take a dip in the water, or just enjoy some sun with other queer folks in recovery!

We’ll meet up at All God’s Children MCC parking lot (3100 Park Avenue, Minneapolis, MN) and carpool to Willow River State Park (1034 Co Hwy A, Hudson, WI) or you can meet us there!

We’ll be heading out at 9:30 AM, so don’t be too late! We plan to arrive by 10:30 AM and enjoy the day before heading back to Minneapolis around 2 PM with an arrival home time of 3 PM.

Admission to the park is $16 per car but a bag lunch will be provided, so RSVP to tell us you’re coming by CLICKING HERE.

Art-a-Whirl!

Art is an amazing way to live a life in recovery! Join us on Saturday, May 17 as we tour artist studios at Art-a-Whirl in Northeast Minneapolis!

Art-a-Whirl is the largest open artist studio tour in the country, it happens annually throughout Northeast Minneapolis the third weekend of May.

Over 1,600 Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association member artists, galleries, and businesses participate across all of Northeast Minneapolis at 100+ locations. Art-A-Whirl is a fantastic way to connect with artists in their own spaces, enjoy demonstrations and interactive activities, listen to live music, and enjoy local restaurants. Art-A-Whirl is free and open to the public.

Holiday Cookie Decorating!
